Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Court Hub platform when you access it through Lausanne Pickleball Club or any other participating club.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Court Hub platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Platform. These terms apply to all clubs operating on the Platform.
2. Description of Service
Court Hub is a multi-tenant platform that provides pickleball and racquet sports clubs with management tools. The Platform enables:
- Membership management across multiple clubs
- Event registration and attendance tracking
- Court booking with dynamic pricing
- Private lesson scheduling with coaches
- Competitive tournament management (team registration, groups, brackets)
- Player leaderboards and statistics tracking
- Secure payment processing
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
To use the Platform, you must create an account by providing:
- A valid email address
- A secure password
- Your first and last name
3.2 Multi-Club Membership
Your account allows you to be a member of multiple clubs. Each club may have its own rules and pricing that you must comply with.
3.3 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
3.4 Account Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update such information to maintain its accuracy.
4. Court Booking
4.1 Booking Rules
- Courts can be booked up to 7 days in advance
- Bookings are available during facility hours (typically 7am-10pm)
- Maximum of 2 concurrent bookings per user
- Booking duration options are 1 or 2 hours
4.2 Pricing
- Court prices vary by club and time of day (rush hour pricing may apply)
- Discounts may be available for consecutive hours
- All prices are displayed before confirmation
4.3 Cancellation
Cancellation policies are determined by each individual club. Check with your club for specific rules.
5. Event Registration
5.1 Registration Process
- Event registrations are confirmed immediately upon submission
- You may register guests as permitted by each event
- Events may have minimum and maximum participant limits
- Some events may offer early registration for members
- A waitlist may be available when events are full
5.2 Recurring Events
Some events recur weekly. Each occurrence is treated as a separate event for registration purposes.
5.3 Cancellation Policy
- You may unregister from events through your profile
- Clubs reserve the right to cancel events due to insufficient registrations
- You will be notified of event cancellations through the platform
6. Private Lessons
6.1 Booking Lessons
- Private lessons are booked directly with coaches
- Lesson availability depends on coach schedules
- Pricing is set by individual coaches
6.2 Cancellation
- Cancellation policies and potential penalties are determined by coaches
- Late cancellations may result in penalty fees
7. Competitive Tournaments
7.1 Team Registration
- Teams consist of two players
- Contact information is required for registration
- External (non-member) players may be included where permitted
7.2 Public Information
By registering for public tournaments, you agree that your team name and player names will be publicly visible in tournament brackets and standings.
8. Leaderboard and Statistics
By participating in tracked games, you consent to:
- Your game results being recorded
- Your statistics (wins, losses, points) being calculated
- Your name and ranking being displayed on public leaderboards
9. Payments
9.1 Payment Processing
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe
- Your payment details are never stored on our servers
- Saved payment methods may be used for future transactions with your consent
9.2 Pricing
- Prices for events, court bookings, and lessons are set by individual clubs
- All applicable fees are displayed before payment confirmation
10. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform
- Use automated systems (bots, scripts) to access the Platform
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Register for events you do not intend to attend
- Share your account credentials with others
- Manipulate leaderboard rankings or game statistics
- Submit fraudulent registrations or payment information
11. Event Conduct
By participating in events, you agree to:
- Arrive on time and participate responsibly
- Follow club rules and regulations
- Respect other participants and club property
- Follow safety guidelines and instructions
- Exhibit good sportsmanship
12. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Court Hub or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any content from the Platform without express written permission.
13. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
14. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
14.1 Service Availability
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
14.2 Liability for Events
Participation in club events, court bookings, and private lessons is at your own risk. Neither Court Hub nor participating clubs are liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that occur during activities.
14.3 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Court Hub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Court Hub, participating clubs, their officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
16. Account Termination
16.1 By You
You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings. Upon deletion:
- All your personal data will be permanently removed
- Your event registrations and bookings will be cancelled
- Your club memberships will be terminated
- You will lose access to the Platform
16.2 By Us or Clubs
We or individual clubs reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in prohibited activities
- Provide false or misleading information
- Abuse the Platform or other users
- Fail to make required payments
17. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the Platform.
18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through good faith negotiations or, if necessary, in the courts of Switzerland.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
